The Homo Sapiens Nebula series is Visconti's newest limited edition, and it starts from a plain idea: gas and dust drifting in the dark until something ignites. A nebula builds stars. The pen builds ideas.
Two models open the collection, Orion and Eagle. Both are made from resins developed with a specialist Italian laboratory. No lucky accident there, just months of joint research and repeated testing to hit an exact balance of color, pigment and visual depth. Those resins are produced exclusively for Visconti.
Turn the acrylic in your hand and the movement of a nebula shows up in the material itself: chromatic depth, transparency, and luminous reflections that shift with the light. Each pen comes out slightly different from the next.
The Eagle Nebula holds the celebrated Pillars of Creation, one of the most iconic places in the universe where chaos slowly becomes light. Gigantic columns of interstellar dust shelter the process through which new stars form.
Eagle catches the moment every idea begins to emerge. Deep turquoise swirls, warmed by green and brown shades and luminous silver reflections, evoke the density and movement of cosmic clouds, while the acrylic resin adds shifting depths and transparency.
