Meet the pen that started it all. The Conklin Pen Company® earned its place among American writing instrument makers with the Crescent Filler™, and founder Roy Conklin of Toledo, Ohio patented the first self-filling design in 1897. Mark Twain himself became the brand's official spokesperson.
Purple Fusion resin sits alongside three other finishes in the collection, the Limited Edition Clear Demo, Black Chase, Vintage Green, and Vintage Blue. Trim comes in rose gold, gold, or silver depending on the model. On this one the rose gold pairs with the resin, and Mark Twain's signature is engraved along the band. The spring loaded rocker clip is original Conklin and was patented in 1916, so it holds a pocket, jacket, or coat the way it always has.
Nib choices run from Extra Fine to Omniflex, six sizes in all: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub, and Omniflex, each a signature cushion point steel nib.
