Tono & Lims INKfinity Chesapeake at Twilight Ink with @heathermarieplans 30ml

Long summer days at Virginia Beach and drives around the Chesapeake Bay gave me some of my favourite childhood memories. Once the sun slipped below the horizon, the water threw back shades of violet, blue and pink, and for a few minutes the whole world felt quieter. That feeling stayed with me.

Chesapeake at Twilight grew out of those evenings.

It opens as a rich, moody purple, borrowed from that short hour between day and night. Soft blue and pink undertones surface as the ink dries, shifting with the light and the angle of the page. Underneath it all sits a delicate silver shimmer, the way the last sunlight dances across water.

Watch it for a minute and the colour changes, much like the sky it came from.

Each line holds a piece of those summer evenings. Every page is a reminder that some of the best moments are also the briefest.

If you chase character and complexity in fountain pen inks, Chesapeake at Twilight is more than a colour — it's a memory, bottled.

Twilight in a bottle: Chesapeake at Twilight is a collaboration between Tono & Lims and @heathermarie.plans. Inside the 30ml bottle sits a rich, moody purple that transforms as it dries, revealing soft blue and pink undertones that shift with the light and the angle you hold the page at. A delicate silver shimmer runs beneath, close to sunlight glinting off water at dusk. Virginia Beach and the Chesapeake Bay shaped the colour, and each stroke brings a little of that fleeting hour onto paper. Fountain pen users who like a shade with some complexity will find plenty to watch here.
