That's what the Pro Gear Veilio is built around, and the fourth edition keeps the trick intact: turn the pen and the pattern moves with the light. Sailor describes the effect as a veil, which fits once you've held one. Every barrel comes out a little different.
Write with it and the 21K gold nib takes over. Cartridge or converter both work, and the cap is a simple screw fit. This is the 2026 limited release.
Each VEILIO pen also comes with a special converter made in a colour that corresponds to its body, which keeps the look consistent from reservoir to nib.
