Gravitas Sentry Fountain Pen in Raw Brass with Steel Nib

The Sentry is Gravitas' bigger take on its entry-level pen, and this one is machined from a single block of brass — cap and barrel both. It carries a bit more weight than the smaller model, yet the balanced, weighted section keeps long writing sessions easy on the hand.

Cap removal takes only 2.25 turns thanks to the triple-start ACME thread profile, and a delrin sleeve inside the cap guards the barrel surface when you post it. The 25mm-long section tapers from 13.25mm to 11.5mm, cut from Stainless Steel alloy with a black PvD coating and finely machined circular grooves that give your fingers something to hold.

Brass ages with handling, and that's part of the point.

*due to the nature of the material this pen may arrive to have some more or less patina showing (this is not a valid condition aspect for a call on warranty or considering it used - its a reversible process that you can address by polishing this pen with a jewellers cloth and maintain it shiny)

Two o-rings came with the recent upgrade: one on the section keeps a tight seal so the section stays put when it isn't needed, and one on the barrel stops the cap from coming loose by accident.

A Gravitas-made size 6 steel nib sits up front, compatible* with Jowo No. 6 threads, fed by an ABS plastic feeder. Pick from Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad. Each pen ships with a standard international plug-in cartridge converter.
