Here's the Opus88 Cinco de Mayo Endless Exclusive Fountain Pen, drawn up with @mattdeford.
Digging into Cinco de Mayo, I found out Napoleon's armies came to conquer Mexico in the name of France. In one city, Puebla, the church bells rang to warn people the armies were arriving. Out came the machetes, and the French were beaten. While I was laying color into the ink drawing, the parallel felt hard to miss. Russia invading the smaller nation of Ukraine. Citizens turned out to fight with little help at first. Time to celebrate the courage of ordinary people standing up to the neighborhood bully. That's where the blue and yellow come from — not colors you'd normally pair with Cinco de Mayo.

Small enough for a pocket, this fountain pen pairs a translucent acrylic body with a stainless steel clip. It fills by eyedropper and uses a shut-off valve mechanism, matched with a #5 Jowo nib.
