Twenty percent cotton pulp goes into the paper of this notebook, and you feel it straight away. Strokes glide over a smooth surface that holds handwriting and sketches with clarity and precision. The warm white shade that comes from the cotton makes ink colors read true, and the paper takes ink without fuss.
A full 180-degree opening comes from reinforced thread binding, so the pages sit flat while you work. Outside, glassine paper wraps the notebook with vintage character; it guards against dust and peels away if you want a cleaner look. Index stickers are held in place with cheesecloth fasteners, ready for you to arrange as you like.
Pages are entirely blank, which leaves room for any direction your work takes. Pick the A5 format or the A5 Square; the square version opens horizontally for wide layouts and compositions.
