The Quark is a pocket fountain pen that hits full size once you post it. Gravitas machines the cap, section and barrel from 6061-T651 aluminum, then anodizes it with a bead blasting finish. Orange and Shamrock Green belong to the 2025 release, which swaps in ACME cap threads and a color-matched green section.

Small enough to disappear in a pocket, it writes like a normal pen when the cap goes on the back. The ergonomically balanced section and light aluminum body keep quick notes and long writing sessions comfortable.

Cap removal takes 0.6 turns thanks to the double-start ACME threads; posting the cap at the rear needs just 2 turns. The 22mm-long section tapers from 9.85mm to 9.0mm, with micro-machined grooves and a bead-blasted surface for grip.

A size 6 steel nib made by Gravitas sits up front, feeding through an ABS plastic feeder and fitting Jowo No. 6 threads. Nib options: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.

Use a standard international ink cartridge with the Quark. Eyedropper conversion isn't recommended on the aluminum versions.
