Caneta-tinteiro Gravitas Pocket em fibra de carbono pultrudida

A pocket pen made for carrying, and this one comes in a notably tough material: pultruded carbon fibre. The tube begins as carbon fibre tow, pulled through a resin bath and shaped by a heated die before it cures. Precision machining on a specialised lathe follows, using a proprietary technique.

*the carbon fibre is left uncoated and exposed, so handling and hand oils can make the pen read darker or lighter

Ink is held inside a double delrin liner at cap and barrel, which pushes capacity to 1 ml. Cartridges and converters won't fit this version, so you fill it directly.

Triple-start threads hold the cap, and 1.5 turns frees it. On one side of the barrel a flat facet doubles as a roll stop. Post the cap and the Pocket grows into a full-sized writing instrument, handy during long sessions.

The black PVD-coated grip measures 25mm and tapers from 11.85mm to 9.8mm. Metal underneath, with micro-machined circular grooves cut in for a secure hold.

A size 6 steel nib produced by Gravitas pairs with a red Nikko ebonite feeder for steady flow. Satin carbon fibre in black and charcoal picks up red accents: the feeder, the Gravitas logo on the cap, a red rubber O-ring on the barrel. Each pen arrives with a 1 ml capacity eyedropper. Don't exceed 1 ml of ink when filling.

*swapping to another nib unit is your call, and checking the fitment comes with it. Damage from non-Gravitas nibs or nib units isn't our responsibility.

NOTE: this model does not support ink cartridges.
