The Gravitas Pocket in Aluminum Red is a small pen you can actually carry without worrying about it. Body and cap are machined from 6061-T651 aluminum, then anodized, and the section is stainless steel 304 with a black PvD coating plus micro-machined circular grooves that give your fingers something to hold on to. This upgrade version caps on an ACME thread profile, which changes how the capping feels and seals the inside of the cap better than before.

Delrin now lines the cap, and the double-start threads come undone in just 1.25 turns. One side of the cap carries a machined flat facet, so it doubles as a roll stop. Post it and the Pocket turns into a full-sized writer. The bead-blasted anodized finish has a tactile quality you notice the moment you pick it up.

A Gravitas-made size 6 steel nib sits ahead of an ABS plastic feeder, compatible* with Jowo No. 6 threads, and you can pick Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad. A standard international small cartridge converter comes in the box.
