Tassie Seasons marks the fifth series in Van Dieman's growing lineup of Tasmanian fountain pen inks. Sixteen inks make up the collection, four for each season, and they capture the shifting colours of the island. Across the range you get dark and light tones, warm and cool shades, workhorse writing colours and more artistic picks, plus two shimmer inks.
Tasmania is the only Australian state with a genuinely temperate climate. Winter brings colourful festivals in the south, heavy snowfalls through the central highlands, and foggy days in Launceston from July to September. Spring arrives cool and breezy, revealing native flowers, brightly plumed birds and butterflies. Summer delivers local produce and beach days, often chased by a dramatic storm. Autumn means late figs and pepperberries, and the turning of the fagus, Australia's only native deciduous tree.
