Van Dieman's Ink x @gabbitries Picture of Autumn Ink Set (30ml)

I grew up in a tropical country with just two seasons, wet and dry, so the four seasons have always fascinated me. Autumn stands out most of all.

What pulls me toward it is that cozy, introspective, mysterious and nostalgic feel. Picture autumn and two contrasting sides appear: the bright version with yellows and orange, and the moody reds and greens, leaves covering the road. That idea grew into a two-ink collection, Welcome Picture of Autumn.

Golden Autumn stands for the bright, exciting side of change and the possibilities it brings. Fallen Leaves stands for the introspection that comes with change, the letting go.

Van Dieman's Ink and @gabbitries joined forces on the Picture of Autumn inks, a two-ink set drawn from the colors of fall.

• Golden Autumn is a soft peachy orange that shades beautifully, with a medium density gold shimmer for a subtle but striking sparkle. Reach for it when your words need to shout and dance.
• Fallen Leaves is a vibrant cool red with medium-to-high saturation and a touch of drama. It has a moderate green sheen that shows clearly on papers like Tomoe River. Use it for wandering through feelings or writing in whispers. Mysterious, maybe, but always inviting.
