Tailored Pen Company Santelmo St. Elmo's Fire Fountain Pen, 18 Pieces

Some stories get told around the table, and this one started there. Kat and her daughter Vidya built the Santelmo concept together, pulling from the All Souls and Saints Day traditions of their province — cleaning tombstones, bringing food, keeping the forgotten close.

The name comes from St. Elmo's Fire, those floating fireballs said to drift through the mangroves on stormy nights, looking for whoever did them wrong. See one and it's either death to the wicked or a blessing to the pure of heart. Heavy stuff for a pen, but it fits.

Tailored Pen Company produced the blank on their Churchill model. It sits close to the Westminster, except the body and cap transition smoothly with no step in size, and the ends taper to an angled point. Kahlil, Kat's husband, designed the nib engraving around Pilipino tribal art.

Only 18 pens worldwide.
