Tailored Pen Company × @micahfinds New Year, New Hue! 2022 Fountain Pen

Pantone named Very Peri its Color of the Year, a periwinkle that sits between the calm of blue and the spark of violet. This pen borrows that mood and asks you to make something with it. New Year, New Hue! isn't just a fountain pen — it's a small daily reminder to keep creating.

Look at the nib and you'll spot a Firework engraving, a motif long tied to warding off bad luck. The wish behind it is simple: fewer days soured by negative energy, more days spent on what you love. Pick it up and let it nudge you back toward your own passions.

The blank was designed by micahfinds and built by Tailored Pen Company on their Essex model, a curvy, no-step silhouette with a smooth transition from body to cap. Standard size uses 13mm threads and an 11.8mm section, and the body swells to a width of 15-17mm.
