Pelikan Fountain Pen - Souverän M600 Art Collection #2 - Rudi Rother - Special Edition (2025)

The second release in the Art Collection series, the 2025 Pelikan M600 Rudi Rother follows the success of the 2023 Glauco Cambon edition. Honoring German painter and illustrator Rudi Rother (1863–1909), who won Pelikan’s prestigious art competition in 1903, this pen draws from one of his notable works featuring a woman writing beside a pelican—a blend of functionalism and Jugendstil aesthetics. Rother’s distinctive style, marked by flowing lines and ornamental figures, influenced early commercial art. The pen’s green resin components and patterned barrel reflect designs inspired by the woman’s dress in Rother’s illustration.

The Special Edition Souverän® enchants with a distinctive design, elevating it to a true work of art. Crafted from high-quality, self-polishing resin, the cap, forepart, and knob showcase exceptional craftsmanship. Its two-tone 14-karat gold nib delivers smooth, expressive writing with both softness and strength. Accentuated by 24-karat gold plating on signature details like the twin rings and the iconic Pelikan beak clip, this fountain pen exudes timeless elegance and sophistication.
