A pen built around light: the Monteverde MP1 White Lotus wears luminous white lacquer with a pearl effect, and the finish turns slightly iridescent as you rotate it in your hand. Just 1,999 numbered pieces are being made. The lotus reference isn't decoration — it's about purity and renewal, and the minimalist shape carries that idea without shouting.
Coordinated cap, piston knob and internal parts keep the design whole. The MP1 keeps its one-piece transparent barrel and grip section, made for durability and a comfortable hold; note that the front section isn't designed to be unscrewed. Aluminum forms the cap, bringing corrosion resistance and a clean architectural line against the white. Around back, a blind cap covers the Lock-It piston so it can't shift by accident.
A German-made JoWo #6 nib comes in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub and Omniflex, so delicate script and expressive line variation are both covered. Pairing it with a plasma-treated feed keeps ink flowing predictably — no skipping, no blotting.
Filling happens straight from the bottle, and the 2 ml polycarbonate reservoir means fewer refills between sessions.
Limited and numbered edition of 1,999 pieces only!
