Panta Rei marks the debut of the Cavalluccio Rosso collection from Leonardo Officina Italiana, made together with the Luciano De Crescenzo Cultural Association.
The pen pays tribute to Luciano De Crescenzo and his gift for bringing philosophy down to earth, into ordinary life. His book of the same name, and the Heraclitus idea behind it, give the model its title: "Panta rei, everything flows." Things shift, people grow, and ideas keep taking fresh shapes. A fountain pen suits that notion well, since it lets you set down a thought, keep a memory, or return later to something worth rereading.
Two colorways are offered. One pairs pearlescent ivory with warm, glowing reflections; the other blends petrol blue with rock gray. Gold-colored accents finish both versions. Look closely and you'll spot a red detail on the clip, plus a raised cavalluccio horse emblem set into the cap finial.
De Crescenzo's own signature is engraved on the cap as a personal tribute. On this stainless steel nib version, it appears in a subtle tone-on-tone treatment. Traditional Italian craftsmanship shows in the details, from the sleek silhouette to the careful finishing throughout.
