The writing tools we pick up each day carry a lot of feeling with them. Kakimori set out to build one that would earn a lifetime of use and bring a little joy to hand and eye.
Because it's made to universal specifications, standard nibs fit without fuss, and the holder is meant to travel with you through years of writing.
Materials do the talking here. Urushi lacquer, sleek aluminum and naturally beautiful sakura wood each bring their own level of class to your calligraphy setup, so your words can look as elegant as the tool in your hand.
Kakimori Nib holder design update: the nib holders now use a new nib mount developed alongside Sakuma Special Steel, built with ReMax Composite made from recycled carbon fiber. That change improves nib grip and durability for a longer-lasting, comfortable writing experience across both the Nib holder and Mini holder ranges. Products will transition to the new mount as existing inventory sells through.
Nibs sold separately.
