Gravitas Sentry Fountain Pen in Raw Stainless Steel Finish

The Sentry is Gravitas' bigger take on its entry-level pen, and the extra heft shows up the moment you pick it up. Balance keeps it easy to live with. A weighted section sits right where your fingers land, so longer writing sessions don't turn into a chore.

Capping is quick work: triple-start ACME threads release the cap in 2.25 turns, and a delrin sleeve inside the cap guards the barrel finish when you post it. Both cap and barrel are machined from one block of Stainless Steel, left with a smooth raw metal look.

The grip section runs 25mm long, tapering from 13.25mm down to 11.5mm. Stainless Steel alloy, PvD coated in black, with fine circular grooves machined in for traction. Two o-rings arrived with the recent upgrade: one on the section holds a tight seal so it stays put when not in use, and one on the barrel keeps the cap from slipping off by accident.

Writing comes courtesy of a Gravitas-made size 6 steel nib, compatible* with Jowo No. 6 threads, fed by an ABS plastic feeder. Pick from Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad. A standard international plug-in cartridge converter ships with every pen.
