The Flagship from Gravitas is a big pen. That's the point. Built for newcomers and for writers who already own plenty of pens but want something oversized in the hand, it pairs the brand's minimalist-industrial Bauhaus lines with the classic torpedo silhouette.
Capping is quick thanks to an ACME thread profile: one full turn and you're writing, which helps during fast note-taking. The 28 mm section tapers from 12mm down to 11mm, and micro-machined grooves give your fingers something to hold onto.
Cap, section and barrel are all machined from a single solid block of aluminum, anodized in red with a bead blasted surface texture. Silicon nitride finials sit at the top and end for extra protection when it's needed. A Jowo-compatible* Gravitas nib comes fitted, and you can pick extra fine, fine, medium or broad.

The Flagship isn't postable, so plan to set the cap down while you write. Uncapped, it balances comfortably, and the aluminum build keeps it lighter than the stainless steel versions of the same shape and size. A push-in standard international cartridge converter arrives in the box, so you can fill from a bottle right away.
