The Tessera is back. BENU brought back one of its most comfortable designs, and the barrel still wears the cube-shaped "tesserae" pattern that started it all — this time with a calmer, almost classic feel instead of the usual loud colorways.
On the Tanzanite version, that cube-patterned body is a translucent royal blue, set off by steel details. Look at the grip and cap band: translucent purple resin with silver-colored glitter worked through it. The matte outer surface against the glossy inner facets gives the pen a texture you notice in the hand before you notice it on the desk.
A stainless steel nib sits up front, and the pen runs on cartridges or a converter. It posts too, if you like a longer pen in use.
