BENU's Tessera line is back, and it brings one of the most comfortable shapes the brand has ever made. The original idea came from mosaic art: the barrel carries a cube-shaped tile pattern, the little pieces called tesserae, which gives the pen its faceted look.
This redesigned version keeps those cubes but tones things down. Compared with BENU's louder signature styles, the Tessera reads almost classic. A matte surface covers the body, while the inner facets stay glossy, so texture and light shift as you turn the pen in your hand.
The Tessera Sunstone wears a translucent brick red cube-patterned body shot through with gold colored glitters, matched to gold-plated trims. A stainless steel nib sits up front, and ink comes from a cartridge/converter setup.
