Pale green wings, a soft glow, and a shape you'd recognize from a midnight garden — that's what @catsandfountainpens set out to capture in the Luna Moth fountain pen. The design started with a personal fascination: the moth's ethereal look and what it stands for, creativity, renewal, fresh starts. From there, the artisans at Franklin-Christoph brought the concept to life through HATCH.
When I was introduced to Luna Moths, I was immediately taken with their ethereal beauty and spiritual implications. They are captivating creatures symbolizing creativity, renewal and new beginnings. I wanted to design a fountain pen that could inspire others in their own creative endeavors.

The result leans on the moth's real traits. Luminous green resin echoes the wings, and the gossamer, translucent quality gives the pen a sense of light passing through it. It's a tribute you can actually write with every day, not just admire on a shelf.
