Visconti Divina Elegance Bordeaux Oversize Fountain Pen, 14K Gold Nib

Leonardo's golden section sits behind the whole Divina line, and the Bordeaux version shows it plainly. Sterling silver accents meet a mother-of-pearl acrylic resin in a deep red finish, so the pen reads warm up close and a little darker from across the room. Five sides make up the grip — four elements plus the fifth divine essence, in Visconti's telling.

That pentagonal shape also does practical work: it sits comfortably between your fingers through a long writing session. The nautilus spiral curves along the barrel, echoing the geometry you find in shells and sunflowers. Inside, a Pull & Turn Piston system moves the ink, and the in-house 14K gold nib does the rest on paper.
