Virgil walked Dante through Hell and Purgatory, and this Comedìa pen carries his name. Ivory, sand, copper and muted white swirl through the acrylic resin body, and each tone is meant to reflect a different side of the Roman poet's character.
Yellow gold plating runs across the clip, cap band and grip section. At the middle sits a hammered band engraved with the series and canto designation, which gives the pen its focal point. The cap holds with a magnet, so it comes off in one quick pull.
Visconti's spring-loaded bridge clip nods to Florence's architectural heritage. A large steel nib, plated to match the metalwork, handles the writing, and the pen takes standard international cartridges or a converter.
