Sailor looked to the sweets table for this Pro Gear Slim run. The Japanese Sweets collection takes its cues from wagashi — the confections served with tea — and each pen in the group stands for one of them.

  • Mochi — a rice cake wrapped in a salted Sakura leaf.
  • Nerikiri — shiro-an (white bean paste) worked together with gyuhi, which is made from rice flour, into a shaped sweet.
  • Kohakuto — a semi-dried agar jelly sweet with a jewel-like shine.
  • Manju — a steamed bun filled with red bean jam.
  • Tsukimi Dango — round dumplings eaten while viewing the moon.

The body is resin, the cap screws on, and you can run it on cartridges or the included converter. A 14K gold nib with a gold IP finish handles the writing end.
