Omas Paragon Fountain Pen in Grigio Perla Celluloid

Production of Grigio Perla celluloid ended in 1932, and the material only reached the market afterwards. Pens of that era often leaned monochrome, and customers usually followed suit, so Grigio Perla waited for its moment. That moment came with the Cinema pen, issued to mark 100 years since the “birth date” of modern cinema in 1995 — fitting, since film stock is also made from cellulose nitrate.

Nearly three decades on, the celluloid gets another run. Just 88 units of Paragon have been carved from it, and this is the first time it has been paired with black ruthenium plated furniture and nibs.
