Red is the whole point of this one. Montblanc built the 2021 Special Edition around "Rosso 70 Anni," the shade created for Ferrari's 70th anniversary, and the precious resin body carries it in full.
Yellow shows up as a small accent behind the Montblanc emblem on the cap, a reference to Modena. On the back of the cap sits the prancing horse emblem. Engraved along the metal clip is Enzo Ferrari's own line: "We cannot describe passion, we can only live it."
Hand-engraved on the 14k gold nib are the steering wheel from the Ferrari 250 GTO and the nickname "Pilota." Piston filling, screw cap. For a collector who already has a few Great Characters pens, this one sits well beside them.
