Gravitas Quark Fountain Pen Shamrock Green Aluminum Pocket Pen

Meet the Quark, a pocket fountain pen that writes like a full-sized pen once the cap goes on the back. Cap, section and barrel are machined from 6061-T651 aluminum, then anodized and bead blasted. Shamrock Green and Orange belongs to the 2025 release, which brings ACME threads for capping and posting along with a matching green section.

Built as the smallest pen of its kind, the Quark stretches out to full length when posted. Its light build and balanced section keep longer writing sessions comfortable, not just quick notes.

Triple-start ACME cap threads reveal the nib in 0.5 turns, and the cap screws onto the back in 2 turns when posted. Cut from aluminum with micro-machined grooves and a bead-blasted finish, the 22mm-long section tapers from 9.85mm to 9.0mm.

A Gravitas-produced size 6 steel nib sits up front with an ABS plastic feeder, compatible* with Jowo No. 6 threads. Pick Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad.

*when swapping for a different nib unit you are sole responsible for checking the fitment of the new nib - we are not responsible for any damages that may occur from the use of non gravitas nibs/nib units.

Fill it with a standard international ink cartridge. Aluminum versions aren't recommended for eyedropper conversion.
