The Flagship from Gravitas is an oversize pen built for anyone who writes a lot, beginners included. Bauhaus minimalism meets the classic torpedo silhouette here: clean industrial lines on a body that fills the hand. One full turn of the cap and you're writing, which makes it a practical pick for quick notes during the day.
The grip section tapers from 12mm to 11mm, with micro-machined grooves cut into the surface so your fingers stay planted. It measures 28mm in length, and the shaping keeps the hold comfortable over long sessions.
Body material is an Aluminum-Bronze alloy, chosen for high ductility and thermal conductivity. You'll find the same alloy in energy, aerospace and marine hardware such as valves, bushings, gears and propeller shafts. Silicon nitride finials sit at the top and end for an extra layer of protection.
Nib options run extra fine, fine, medium and broad, all Jowo compatible* Gravitas nibs. A push-in standard international converter ships in the box.
*Swapping to a different nib unit is your call. Check fitment yourself before installing anything non-Gravitas, since damage from other nibs or nib units isn't covered.
This pen does not post. Uncapped, it balances well in the hand even with its weight.
