Gravitas Dinkey Fountain Pen in Tungsten Machine Finish

Small, handy and built around an unusual material — that's the Dinkey. The tungsten alloy here contains copper, which brings high thermal conductivity and plasticity to the mix. Machine Finish means the pen leaves the lathe without any polishing, so it keeps a shiny, copper-toned look. Polish it instead and the copper content fades back, letting the tungsten's grey come through as a satin texture. (Polishing this tungsten alloy results in a satin grey finish, while leaving it unpolished maintains a shiny, copper-like appearance straight from the machine.)

A Delrin lining inside the cap keeps the barrel free of scratches when you post. The copper section has an o-ring where it threads into the barrel, and it takes a Jowo size #6 nib unit.

Gravitas supplies the steel nib in extra fine, fine, medium or broad, running on a standard plastic feeder. A custom-designed plastic tube comes along for carry. Slim, compact, and balanced between looks and function.
