Conklin started out in 1898, and the Symetrik line reaches back to that era for its shape. The original 1930 patented model carried a half-moon inlay on the cap just above the clip, plus enameled rings. This version drops the inlay and keeps things smooth and continuous instead, so the profile reads as one clean line.
Balance is the whole point here. A proportional, streamlined resin body sits comfortably in the hand, and the chrome clip, band and trim trace the edges of the design. Caramel Sundae is the finish on this one.
