Two writing surfaces, one nib. The Cursive Italic BB unit from Tom's Studio is ground with a smooth, rounded tip and flattened sides, giving you a broader downstroke of roughly 1mm and a fine horizontal stroke as thin as 0.2mm — enough variation to make everyday handwriting look deliberate.
Why "BB"? The double broad designation means lines twice as wide as a standard broad nib. And "cursive" points to the flowing script the shape tends to produce.
Each unit uses hard-wearing iridium and carries 14k gold plating for the finish. Because the nibs are interchangeable, swapping styles between sessions takes little effort.
