Kilk × @pensandturquoisebrown Dusk fountain pen z stalówką JoWo #6

I grew up in a time when we did not have to internet and my memory was one of painful endless boredom. As go through middle adulthood I have come to appreciate those moments of doing nothing of my childhood. In a world that has increasingly become noisy and a time when intense hustle is considered a badge of honor. Pablo Neruda’s poem “Keeping Quiet” is a reminder that sometimes silence is the best course of action. We stop ourselves from reacting right away and maybe find that all of our problem’s answers have been right before us.

I love that I get to incorporate this meditation into a fountain pen! Journaling in quiet reflection of the day whether mundane or eventful. A memento to cherish each day with kindness.

The Dusk comes from a design by @pensandturquoisebrown, using a blank that Jonathon Brooks of Carolina Pen Company turned out, then built on Kilk's Epigram platform. A nocturnal sky inspired the engraved motif that runs around the band. Inside sits a stainless steel nib, and the pen feeds from a cartridge or converter.

Pair it with the Dream and Nightmare Inks for a matching writing session.

JB Pen Blanks Maintenance: To remove stubborn ink stains from pens, Jonathon of Carolina Pen recommends using Rapido Eze. This powerful cleaner is safe on all plastics and effectively dissolves ink buildup in hard-to-reach areas, including threads and crevices. Simply soak your pen in a concentrated solution for about 10 minutes using an ultrasonic cleaner, and watch the stains disappear. A quick rinse with water leaves your pen looking like new.
