The Liliput ranks among Kaweco's oldest series. Back in 1908 these writing implements were made of hard rubber, and the simple shape drew people in even then. Three housing parts still make up the Kaweco LILIPUT: cap, barrel and handle.

That pared-back design now comes in quality metals. Pick brass or copper and the surface picks up a natural, individual patina as the months pass. Aluminum, stainless steel and blued stainless steel round out the range.

Closed, it measures 9.7 cm; open, just 8.7 cm — small enough to count among the smallest fountain pens anywhere. Screw the cap onto the back and you get 12.5 cm, a comfortable length for a long writing stretch. Fountain pen, ballpoint pen or capless ballpoint: your call.

Five nib sizes are offered, as usual for the brand. The screw mechanism means the nib unit can be swapped out whenever you like.
