Kaweco's Perkeo line adds an Infrared colorway, and the look is modern without shouting. An octagonal cap sits over a sixteen-faceted barrel, and the two shapes play off each other as light and shade shift across the surface.
Ergonomics matter here too. The handle is shaped to sit well in the hand and the pen stays light, so longer writing sessions don't leave you cramped or slouched. For a student or someone just starting out with a fountain pen, the value is hard to argue with. Nib sizes: fine (F) and medium (M).
