Metal pens go back a long way at Kaweco — the first ones left the workshop in 1905. Silver and gold-plated brass gave way to aluminum, and today the body is CNC-machined from quality aluminum, then refined in further steps until it carries that semi-gloss, hardened surface.
That metal body is what you notice first. Fine finishing gives it elegance, and the low weight means it rides along in a bag without dragging at a pocket. Stonewashed versions come with a used look in black and blue.
As a pocket fountain pen it measures only 10.5 cm closed, so it slips into a trouser pocket without fuss. Post the cap and it stretches to a normal 13 cm.
Make it yours by picking a nib made in Germany. Five sizes: EF - extra fine, for very small and fine handwriting, F - fine, M - medium, B as a slightly wider nib and BB often for large, dramatic signatures.
