Gravitas Dinkey Pocket Füllfederhalter aus Aluminiumbronze

The Dinkey is a small, pocketable fountain pen, and on this version the material does most of the talking. Gravitas built it from an Aluminum-Bronze alloy, something the lineup hasn't used before. That alloy is highly ductile and highly thermo conductive, and it's normally found in energy equipment and in aeronautica and nautical work — valves, high strength bushings, gears, cams, propeller blades and shafts. Its color leans more to gold, unlike the Cupronickel, which steals towards silver.

One detail sets the Alu-Bronze apart from the rest of the series: it doesn't come with an inner Delrin cap. Instead the inner cap is machined to a smooth finish, which helps prevent major scratches when posting. The section is cupronickel alloy too, with an o-ring at the threading point where it meets the barrel, and it's threaded so it's compatible* with a Jowo size #6 nib unit (standard steel Jowo nib unit).

At the writing end sits a Gravitas steel nib in extra fine, fine, medium, broad or elastic fine, fed by a generic plastic feeder. A practical carry accessory comes along with it. Slim, small, and built around an unusual alloy — that's the pitch here.
