Founder Roy Conklin, based in Toledo, Ohio, patented the first self-filling pen in 1897. That design made the Crescent Filler™ a Conklin® signature and helped the company gain author Mark Twain as its official spokesperson.
Four resin finishes trace that history: Limited Edition Clear Demo, Black Chase, Vintage Green, and Vintage Blue. Trim comes in rose gold, gold, or silver. Mark Twain's signature is engraved on the band, and the original spring-loaded rocker clip patented in 1916 sits ready for a pocket, jacket, or coat.
Choose from six signature cushion point steel nibs: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub, and Omniflex. The Crescent Filler still uses Conklin's original design, and the screw cap comes off when you need to write. Post it or not — the pen is postable.
