In honor of Sailor's foundation year the 1911 Series was introduced 25 years ago. It has maintained the high quality material and craftsmanship from the start. The Realo line was introduced soon after the great success of the original Sailor 1911 fountain pens. The 1911 Realo is a piston-filler version of the typical Sailor 1911 fountain pen and has become one of Sailor's most popular pens after its release. The smooth writing quality of the wide selection of 21K Gold nibs available for this model is a testament to the 95 years experience in writing instruments. The Sailor 1911 Realo Black Fountain Pen has Gold accents with a traditional style polished resin body that epitomizes elegance and quality.
