Gravitas fyldepen – Monster Grade 5 titanium stone washed + Ultem-krop

Don’t let the name fool you, Monster isn’t some oversized, unwieldy fountain pen. In fact, it’s built on the well-proportioned shape of the original Vac, a design that won our writing instruments enthusiasts. Every line, curve, and contour of the Monster has been deliberately refined. From its silhouette to its balance, this fountain pen is the result of obsessive attention to proportion and purpose.

The fountain pen features an ingeniously engineered filling mechanism that draws inspiration from medical valve technology. Developed by designer Ben Walsh, this proprietary system achieves remarkable performance through precision engineering and specialized sealing components. A custom-designed quad ring maintains optimal lubrication during operation, while the mechanism's exacting tolerances maximize ink transfer efficiency. The result is an impressive 7ml capacity paired with consistent, reliable filling action—delivering substantial ink volume with each plunge. Crafted from Grade 5 titanium with a stone-washed finish and complemented by an Ultem barrel, this pen represents the convergence of mechanical innovation and refined materials.

This isn’t just a fountain pen. It’s an engineering statement, a seamless fusion of elegance, utility, and bio mechanical ingenuity.

Give Monster a try, it may become the most intelligent fountain pen in your collection.

DISCLAIMER: As per the Gravitas Warranty Policy, “the combination of the sleek finish and the lack of the clip makes this pen to easy roll off the table/desk or slip off the pocket while in carry, the result of such unfortunate events can be a pen barrel cracked and/or split where the clear acrylic meets the aluminium section threads. Such unfortunate accidents are not covered by warranty!”
