This stunning Visconti fountain pen honors Alexander the Great on the 2300th anniversary of his death. Featuring a sophisticated cylindrical design with tapered ends inspired by Greek columns, the barrel and cap showcase an intricately detailed scrimshaw map of his vast empire, hand-colored for authenticity. Aged bronze fittings adorned with classical Greek motifs frame the piece, while a gilded silver portrait of Alexander graces the central band. The spear-shaped clip—a tribute to the legendary Macedonian phalanx—is topped with a gilded silver shield bearing the sun emblem of his royal crest. A truly exceptional collector's piece that celebrates one of history's greatest military minds and his enduring legacy.
The fountain pen features Visconti's famous power filling system with a threaded cap closure and is presented in a magnificent, custom limited edition box depicting Alexander the Great on horseback seemingly in the midst of battle with spear and shield in hand.
Limited to 323 pieces worldwide.
