The Spitfire took to the air for the first time on March 5, 1936, and stayed in RAF service into the 1950s. R.J. Mitchell's design earned its reputation on speed, agility and those elliptical wings, which gave pilots an edge in a dogfight and made the plane a symbol of British resilience during the Battle of Britain.
Retro51 honours it with the Spitfire Blueprint, part of the officially licensed Imperial War Museum Collection. Detailed schematics run across a navy blue barrel, set off by antique silver trim. Look at the top ring: it's engraved with a serial number next to the IWM logo, and the top disc carries the British Roundel as a finishing touch.
