The No.50 Jumbo from the 1930s is back, and the Emperor Vermillion gives it a color that's hard to look away from. Roiro Urushi Shiage does the work: raw lacquer goes on in layers, then gets hand-polished with charcoal until the vermillion takes on depth you can see into, not just across.
At the front sits an 18K gold nib in the substantial #50 size. An eyedropper fill feeds the large-capacity barrel, so long writing stretches don't mean constant refilling, and the screw cap closes things up tight to protect the ink. Collectors who care about heritage and handwork will find plenty of both.
