Four Japanese folk tales give this Sailor Pro Gear Slim series its color palette. The Shikiori line takes those stories and turns them into resin barrels with a gold shimmer running through them, so the finish shifts as you turn the pen in your hand.
The Dragon Palace is a light green color with gold shimmer, inspired by the beautiful underwater palace in the fairy tale of the fisherman Urashima Taro.
The Vega is a deep blue with gold shimmer, inspired by the story of the Cowherd and the Weaving Girl.
The Princess Kaguya is red with gold shimmer, inspired by the story of the beautiful Moonlight Princess.
The Grateful Crane is a light blue with silvery-white shimmer, like the luxurious cloth woven by the crane wife in the famous folk-tale of the same name.
