Van Gogh's self-portrait gets a writing instrument of its own. This Visconti fountain pen translates the painting's deep, contemplative blues into resin, and the 18-faceted barrel and cap throw light around in a way that makes the colour shift as you turn the pen.
Brass fittings are palladium-plated, so the metal keeps its brightness through daily use. Under the cap sits a stainless steel nib, and you can run it on cartridges or a converter, whichever suits your routine.
It's a collector's package rather than a pen on its own. Inside you'll find a booklet on the artwork, a bookmark, and an ink that Visconti matched to the hues of the painting.
The title of the masterpiece is engraved on the cap ring, and the presentation box carries a reproduction of the original work.
