Gravitas Sentry Füllfederhalter aus Rohkupfer mit #6-Stahlfeder

Carved from one solid block of copper — that's the cap and the barrel on this Sentry, the bigger brother of Gravitas' entry-level pen. Yes, it weighs more than the smaller model. The weighted section is balanced well enough that the extra heft never fights your grip.

Posting won't scuff the barrel, since a delrin sleeve lines the cap. Threads follow a triple-start ACME profile, so 2.25 turns is all it takes to get the cap off. The 25mm-long section runs from 13.25mm down to 11.5mm and is made of Stainless Steel alloy, PvD coated black, with finely machined circular grooves for grip.

Copper picks up a patina as you handle it.

*due to the nature of the material this pen may arrive to have some more or less patina showing (this is not a valid condition aspect for a call on warranty or considering it used - its a reversible process that you can address by polishing this pen with a jewellers cloth and maintain it shiny)

The Sentry's recent upgrade added two o-rings. One sits on the section and holds a tight seal so it won't come off when it shouldn't; the other sits on the barrel and keeps the cap from slipping loose.

Up front you'll find a Gravitas-produced size 6 steel nib, compatible* with Jowo No. 6 threads, paired with an ABS plastic feeder. Nib choices are Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad. A standard international plug-in cartridge converter comes with every pen.

*when swapping for a different nib unit you are sole responsible for checking the fitment of the new nib - we are not responsible for any damages that may occur from the use of non gravitas nibs/nib units.
