Fog over dark water is the idea behind Swamp Fog, and the multi-tonal translucent resin plays with the light in a similar way. This is a pocket-sized fountain pen, yet a compact body doesn't mean held-back performance, which suits writers who want something elegant that travels easily.

Part of the Pencket Series from Taiwan, the pen measures just 12.5cm capped and slips into a pocket or bag without fuss. Post the cap and it lengthens into a balanced writing position. Every barrel carries its own hand-patterned acrylic finish, the metal-studded cap keeps the pen from rolling off a desk, and the German-made Jowo #6 steel nib is an unusual find on a pen this small. A short converter comes included for refilling.
